About
Sacred Love Initiation, founded by Kate Joyner, is the place you come to resurrect your love life.
From the outworn battlefield in relationships to a tropical oasis in love, here is where your heart feels fully at home in depth and devotion, magic and eros, heart and soul.
It's here where your animal and divinity unite, marrying all paradox for a rich and sensuous life overflowing with the remembrance of Sacred Love as your living embodied truth.Â
Our Three Portals
Sacred Love Initiation is an invitation into the living mystery of love—an ever-unfolding journey through the depths of self, other, and soul. At its heart are three core portals, each a gateway to a new dimension of intimacy and awakening.
The Unseen Roots of Relating
This portal brings clarity to your relationship's hidden roots. It exposes unconscious patterns from attachment, family echoes, and inner child woundings. Here, intimacy fears are bravely faced, authentic love is discerned from validation, and conflict transforms into a mirror for genuine connection.
Inner Union and Sovereignty
This portal illuminates inner Masculine and Feminine Union and Sacred Embodied sovereignty. It reveals self-trust rooted in our earthy essence, along with clear boundaries and an anchored presence. Our wounds are transmuted and integrated to prepare you for profound wholeness and soul deep relating.
Sacred Union in Relationship
This portal embraces union between two bodies, a profound relational practice for sacred intimacy. It explores how embodied Masculine and Feminine polarity creates growth, devotion, and erotic depth. Wounds, desires, and virtues here find their way into love and presence.
Your Teacher
Meet Kate Joyner
Kate grew up feeling the weight of love's absence — not just in her own life, but as a kind of collective ache she carried in her body. Love, as the world presented it, felt thin. Transactional. Like a pale imitation of something she knew, somewhere deep in her bones, was supposed to be sacred. She couldn't settle for less, even when she didn't yet have the language for what more looked like.
What she had was a hunger. For depth, for truth, for a love that was worth the devotion she felt capable of giving. But before she could find that in another, she sensed she needed to find it in herself. The call wasn't toward a relationship. It was toward a quest — inward, solo, and entirely her own.
An opportunity arose to leave everything familiar behind and travel. She found herself in a world she didn't fully recognize, shaped by forces larger than herself, with no map and no guarantee of return.
And then — her eros woke up. Not as something dangerous or unruly, but as a creative force of staggering proportions. She discovered that her erotic energy was not simply about desire for another. It was the source of her art, her vision, her aliveness. She began to create from that place, and what poured out of her was extraordinary.
But love, in the romantic sense, kept arriving at the wrong time, in the wrong form, or not at all. And rather than betray the sacred standard she had set, she chose devotional celibacy. Not as deprivation, but as discipline. A sacred container for the energy she was learning to wield.
Â
What happened next surprised even her. Freed from the distraction of waiting for love to give her permission to fully live, she became unstoppable. She created theatre. She made art. She toured, traveled, performed, and was met with awards, reviews, and recognition that confirmed what she was beginning to understand about herself: her erotic energy, responsibly channeled, was a force that could move people. She was already the love witch. She just hadn't named it yet.
Then love arrived — real, embodied, and impossible to resist. She gave herself to it fully and openly, the way only someone who has waited that long and that devotionally can. And when it ended, the heartbreak was total. She had come so far, done so much work, and still found herself on the floor of her own love life, wondering if she had been fooling herself all along.
But this time, she had her training. She had her lineage. She had twenty years of devotion to the sacred arts of love to draw from, and she drew from every single one of them. And in doing so, she discovered a new kind of power — the willingness to love again, without shrinking, without armoring, without making herself smaller to make the masculine more comfortable. She met her own heartbreak the way she would meet a client's: with tenderness, with skill, and with the unshakeable knowing that she was full of magic. And so, she realized, were they.
She is the Sacred Love Witch. Not because her love life is perfect, but because she refuses to give up on love. She has been to the underworld of love and come back. She knows the terrain. She knows the way through. And she is devoted, now more than ever, to being the guide she once needed herself.
This is why her clients call her The Sacred Love Witch.Â
Not because she works magic on their love lives from the outside (though she does), but because she has lived every inch of the path she now leads them on. She knows what it is to stop believing in love and to choose it anyway. She knows what it costs, and she knows what it gives back. And she is here, chalice in hand, to help every battle-worn, heart-hungry soul remember what she herself had to learn the hard way: there is still, always, so much love waiting for you.
“Kate Joyner is a modern day temple priestess and activist of the ancient ways. You’ll most likely find her dancing in flames while toasting menstrual blood to the Moon.
A thunderbolt to the heart, she is a contemporary embodiment of the unspoken and suppressed voices of the wild and divine feminine and masculine.
Her witchy work is revolutionary — and taboo in just the ways we need in this precarious time of radical change. Her visionary artistries — her poetry, performances, and experiential immersions — disrupt the egocentric, nature-disconnected, dominator worldview, and contribute richly to the building of a Western partnership culture that is soulcentric.”

Lineage
Elisabeth Serra of Authentic Feminine Ecstasy (UK & Spain): after a Year-long Initiation into the Deep Feminine, Kate underwent further studies spanning over 6 years where she learnt the Tantric Art of the Deep Feminine.
Here, Kate was initiated into the ancient embodied movement practice originating in the Tandava lineage, which she facilitates for awakening women around the world.
Bill Plotkin and The Animas Valley Institute (USA): a 7-year Soul Initiation Apprenticeship in the craft of Nature Based Underworld Guiding. It’s with great honor that Kate serves as part of the Guide Guild for Animas Valley Institute as a Nature Based Soul Initiation Guide.
Kate now leads her own clients and students on initiatory journeys, tracking the deep mytho-erotic essence encoded within the Soul.
Jessica Walker of Laboratorio Escuela (Barcelona): a 3 year full-time intensive immersion into the alchemical realm of experimental theatre making.
Here Kate fell in love with the power of the stage as a portal for creational freedom, and unleashed her artistry as an Actress of Experimental Theatre.Â
She now uses this cauldron as a tool with her clients to illuminate the hidden realms of life-force and expression that would otherwise remain imprisoned in silence. She also created The Blood Tales, a modern day myth telling of the true nature of woman’s menstrual Blood, which has been featured in cities and festivals around the world.
John Wineland : The Art of Sacred Intimacy and Sexual Polarity (USA) : currently in the 3rd year of apprenticeship in the lineage of Intimacy and Sexual Polarity, where the art of Feminine Embodiment and Masculine Embodiment and how the Masculine and Feminine come together to create evolutionary love is the main course of experiential focus.
Kate believes that when we relate from our essence, rather than our ego, we have the potential to birth a new earth, through Sacred Union.Â
Kate has also trained as a Gestalt Psychotherapist with Instituto de Gestalt Terapia de Bahia in Brazil and as Shamanic Practitioner with Warrior in the Heart in Glastonbury, UK.
